Play That Back uses Apple’s frameworks for playback, recording (ScreenCaptureKit), video export and colour work, and the platforms’ own embedded players for references. Earlier versions bundled download tools; version 1.7 and later bundle none.

Typeface

Play That Back’s timecodes and numbers are set in Geist Mono, and its license ticket in Geist, both Copyright 2024 The Geist Project Authors. The ticket’s italic line is set in Instrument Serif, Copyright 2022 The Instrument Serif Project Authors. All three are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The font files are bundled under Contents/Resources/Fonts and the license texts are in Contents/Resources/Legal/ThirdParty (GeistMono-OFL.txt, Geist-OFL.txt, InstrumentSerif-OFL.txt).

Colour science

Make a look works in the Oklab colour space, published by Björn Ottosson (2020) under the MIT and public-domain terms stated with it.

Service names identify their respective owners. Recording or reviewing media does not transfer rights. The retail package includes no customer videos, recordings, reviews, API keys, or private credentials.
